Left Behind? ( A Story)

We must patiently wait for the coming of the Lord. Things will try to distract us. Those that wait till the end shall be saved. Heaven is real and so is hell. We need to be prepared… You can share it with your friends.

Anderson met Greg in front of the school’s gate as they were about to go home. It had been impressed on his heart that he should share Christ with Greg, his junior at the college and neighbour at home. As they greeted and talked about school activities, family and other things, Anderson steered the chat to something entirely different. It was the rapture. “Do you know about the rapture?” he asked. “Erm…I’ve heard it said once or twice in church but I don’t really know what it means”, Greg answered. As Anderson explained, Greg listened and nodded his head in affirmation. Anderson noticed that Greg did not have any conviction about what he had said. When he got home, he prayed that the Lord would reach out to Greg.
In the night of the same day, Greg was fast asleep when he had a dream. In the dream, he saw an angel blow a big trumpet loudly. He also saw some persons ascending into the heavens. He saw that others could not no matter how hard they tried jumping. There was pandemonium everywhere. Suddenly, he saw Anderson among those going up into the heavens. His feet seemed to be magnetized to the earth. He wept bitterly and then awoke. He had realized the veracity of Anderson’s words. He knelt beside his bed and asked Jesus to save him. He became soundly converted and committed his life to winning others to the Lord and prepare believers for the kingdom of God.
The rapture is a reality that will take place soon. Christ will gather His saints and others will be left behind. In order to be ready, repent of every sin and believe on the Lord Jesus. Walk in Him and constantly watch, pray and wait for His coming. Stay blessed.
