When Storms Strike

Jerry was down with malaria and Jude was just recovering from a slight car accident which occurred last Tuesday. Juliana was not allowed to stay in school as she was yet to pay her school fees. Their Dad, Jake was only recently sacked from his employment. Mrs Judith, their mum was burdened about the current situation and decided to stand in the gap for the family. She purposed to seek the face of the Lord until there was an answer from heaven. She decided to spend some days in fasting and prayer.
One sunny afternoon, she was almost rounding off a session of prayer when she fell into a trance. She saw a stormy wind that was rocking a particular boat on a sea. She was able to recognize everyone on board. This was her very family and the boat was about to capsize. Just then, a man robed in a white apparel stepped on the waters and rebuked the wind. He said, “Peace, be still”. She came out from the trance experience and suddenly remembered that the Lord had used the same words in scripture. She began to walk around the house declaring the word of God. She afterward burst in heavenly worship and praise. She knew the battle was over.

Within a month, her husband was recalled to his former place of work. Jerry and Jude became totally well and Juliana returned to school as God provided and she was able to pay her school fees. God indeed works wonders.
Prayer is expressing our needs to God in the name of Jesus by the help of the Holy Spirit. It is unburdening our hearts to the Lord. We are encouraged to pray unceasingly, passionately and with a pure heart. Get into the prayer closet today and experience the amazing results of seeking God.

Feel free to share with your friends and encourage someone out there. God works wonders!
