A blessed
life is one that has all-around blessings from heaven. It is a life that is full
of God’s grace and riches. It is a life that counts. It entails being blessed
by God and becoming a blessing to others. This is made possible through the
creative power of God’s word being daily revealed to us. God's blessings are
transferred to man on the basis and through the word of God. (Ps 107:20; Matt
8:8; Luke 5:5; John 1:1-3).
We need
to rediscover the depth of riches in the word of God and recover our love for
His word if we are going to experience the power of God’s word for a blessed
life.
The
foundation of a blessed man rests on the fact that he has turned away from
every ungodly counsel. He has no friendship with the world and he is not taking
the things of God with levity. Only those who have a relationship with God
through Christ can lead this kind of life.
