Growing in Grace and Christian Character

In attempting to discover ourselves, we must discover Him first. After this, we must endeavour to become like Jesus. This process is called conforming to His image or growing in grace. This is the reason we are created and converted. Growing in grace will transform our character to become like Jesus.

a.     When we possess His nature, we can live void of selfish ambition and thus become what God wants us to be.

b.     Possessing Christ-like character is a correct foundation before engaging our natural abilities and walking in spiritual gifts and power.

c.      Having a Christ-like heart sets us free from the possibility of being manipulated by the devil to achieve his aims. We are under Christ’s management.

d.     A good character base will help people appreciate our charisma, career and calling.
