We are in a peculiar season when the ministry of watchmen is needed more than ever before. Watchmen have the capacity to bring divine message and transformation to their spheres of influence.
Watchmen contract divine visions of how the earth can be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God.
I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it Habakkuk 2:1, 2
Where there is no vision, the people perish. Watchmen secure divine visions and they run with it. The vision they run with eventually speaks as it secures revival and transformation. Imagine a home, church or community without a watchman. There will be nobody to intercede and receive timely instructions for the salvation and redemption of the people.
As believers, we are called to be lights and salts of the earth. There is gross darkness and corruption in the earth to day. At the root of the wickedness we see being perpetrated (in form of cancel culture, terrorism and godless philosophies that influence people to do evil) is the reality of unregenerate minds.
It is time for us to arise as watchmen like the time of Judges in Israel and unite together to bring the victory of the Lord to our generation through fruitful evangelism, discipleship and concerted intercession.
