The Joshua Generation is a generation that has direction
You can know the right direction to take if you have good sight and adequate information. The Joshua Generation possesses adequate knowledge (including revelational knowledge) on how to do things better. They will have learnt how not to do it from their leaders.
They will be like the children of Issachar who had understanding of the times, knew what Israel ought to do and they had leadership because they could provide direction.
You can't lead if you don't know the way. Remember that when Joshua wanted to send out spies, he sent only two as compared with Moses who sent 12. The truth is that you're likely to have more differing opinions when you have 12 people give a report and if the larger portion is bringing negative report, it becomes more challenging because the crowd flows with the majority.
The success of the Joshua Generation will depend on this matter of having vision, direction and adequate knowledge.
Lastly, we're looking at the Joshua Generation as a determined Generation
Full of faith
They are ready to take the city and conquer the giants. They don't manifest fear and doubt like the previous generation. They do not believe that there is no gate or mountain of influence that they cannot take for God. They are very determined!
Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. Joshua 1:7
Full of focus - not looking back.
They are ready to go up at once. They don't allow barriers. They don't give in to discouragement. They keep running with the vision despite opposition.
Full of fire - Possessing great vigour, courage and passion to run with the vision.
They are filled with the Holy Spirit and they operate in His fire and power to take the gospel to the ends of the earth.
Acts 1:8 KJV
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
